An introduction to colour in the landscape via theory, demonstrations and practical application. The workshop will investigate properties of colour, forms of colour, colour systems, colour mixing, colour harmonies, colour contrasts, colour constancy, colour in nature and seeing colour.
The sessions will be held in Tim’s delightful studio located in the historic rural village of Rockley and en plein air in the fields around.
Tuition is geared to the individual and you work at your own pace.
Medium; Pastel, or a medium of your own choice.
Tutor: Tim Miller
“Tim Miller is a masterful painter and draughtsman. His understanding of light and the influences of light on colour is quite remarkable, and to my mind, place him alongside only a handful of artists who have interpreted the Australian landscape in a unique and convincing way”.
