Rachel’s natural modesty means she does not normally promote her remarkable insights and talent, yet the incredible popularity and impact of her recent exhibition at the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery demonstrates the very high level of public interest and wide professional appreciation of her work.

We have unashamedly leveraged the friendship between Rachel and the Atelier to provide the opportunity for you to spend an intensive weekend, working from still life in the studio to en plein air exploration of Bathurst’s historic CBD. Over 2 days you will learn to see things differently and to express them in charcoal and pencil.

Rachel is generous with her time and quiet in her spirit, combined with the camaraderie that is characteristic of the Atelier, we are confident this will be a great weekend developing both talent and lasting friendships.

This workshop is deliberately programmed to follow directly from the “Art State” conference, complimenting the focus on the Arts in Bathurst through November and providing an opportunity for conference delegates to extend their stay and appreciation of the region. Seeing Bathurst through Rachel’s eyes will add a very different conference experience!

Book early because we have to limit available places to ensure the best possible experience.
